Schaffrath solar housing estate

In autumn 2008, THS Wohnen GmbH commissioned F&S solar concept to build Germany’s biggest photovoltaic housing estate. Within just 12 weeks, a system with a total performance of 825 kWp had been installed. On top of 63 buildings, with a total roof surface of 7,670m2, over 5,300 modules were assembled. THS is certified in line with the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and is a founding member of Förderverein Solarstadt Gelsenkirchen e.V. With the Schaffrath solar housing estate, THS has again demonstrated its ecological commitment and the related sustainability in a meaningful way.
